Thelbridge Cross Inn

This traditional country inn was described by one inspector as 'a real gem'. Dating back to the 1700's, when it was a coaching inn and cider house, the beamed ceilings and open log fires retain that old world feeling today. The Inn boasts wonderful countryside views, and on a clear day, the hills of Dartmoor can be seen to the south, and Exmoor to the north. The central location means most of what Devon offers is within easy reach. Superb food is how the Inn made its name, and first time diners soon recognise the reason for the restaurant's popularity. The menu offers a wide selection of home-cooked dishes, many of them traditional recipes. Seven rooms are all ensuite. New venue room available for hire and weddings.
