About the Devonshire Heartland Tourism Association
 

The DHTA has been in existence for 20 years in Mid Devon and has worked hard to raise the profile of tourism in the area with visitors and local people, district and regional councils. We were responsible for establishing and managing both the Crediton and Tiverton Tourist Information Centres and continue to give vital input into their day to day management and provide some financial support.

The DHTA is run by an Executive team elected annually from within the membership, and representations from the District Council also serve on the committee. Members who join the DHTA vary from guest house, B&B and self catering owners to event organisers, tourist attractions and shops – anyone, from individuals to  businesses, are welcome to join – you do not need to be a tourism business as tourism spending benefits us all.Devonshire Heartland Tourism Association is part of the Heart of Devon Tourism Partnership.
